Dafna Amira

As a creative duo in constant evolution, our commitment lies in perpetuating a viewpoint anchored in the principles of collaboration and belonging. These concepts, far from mere abstractions, are dynamic elements integral to our artistic journey.

Our collaborative creative process draws strength and autonomy from encounters—with each other, with fellow artists, individuals, and new localities. Each such interaction serves as a juncture of artistic possibilities that we eagerly explore within the framework of the De Ateliers residency program.

The studio, for us, is the central hub of our artistic endeavors, always maintaining a robust connection to what lies beyond—the unseen side of walls, the abandoned, the forgotten, and that which seeks expression.

Recognizing the studio as a space extending beyond its physical confines, interwoven with the broader artistic community, we find the De Ateliers residency program to be a platform where these intersections flourish, becoming catalysts for our artistic growth. The prospect of engaging with fresh artistic dialogues, local dynamics, and diverse perspectives from fellow residents holds immense appeal.

Consequently, the opportunity for studio work within the context of an artist's residency is an enriching and exciting playground for us. It offers a multifaceted experience that extends beyond the traditional boundaries of art creation. We eagerly anticipate immersing ourselves in the vibrant and dynamic milieu of De Ateliers, where each moment becomes a nexus of creative possibilities, waiting to be discovered and expressed.
